Delivery

The way we deliver has changed, we used to, like all online plant companies deliver via a courier service but we found that far too many plants were damaged in transit, causing stress and bother to both our customers and ourselves. So much so that we decided to stop selling plants online altogether. This year we have decided to try again with a new approach and that is to send out plants using the pallet network which altogether avoids mis-handling and potential damage, ensuring plants arrive at you doorstep in the same condition in which they left the nursery. This is why our flat rate delivery charge is £30.00, to ensure a damage-free plant-happy delivery from us to you.

We can deliver from Tuesday to Friday, if you have a preferred day please let us know and we can book in to suit.

Due to the increased cost of doing so, we can no longer deliver off the UK mainland via the website. If you are off the UK mainland and wish to order plants, please contact us, and we can arrange a quote for delivery.

Returns Policy
Under the United Kingdoms Distance Selling Regulations you have the right to cancel your order for any item purchased from Athelas Plants. Order cancellations must be made in writing, quoting your order number, within 7 days of delivery of your goods and sent to the address below. Once you have cancelled your order, the goods should be returned to the same address, in their original condition, within 14 days of receipt. The goods are your responsibility until reaching us. For your own protection, we recommend that you send the parcel using a delivery service that insures you for the value of the goods.

If the goods received were as specified in the ordering – a full refund, (excluding initial delivery charge) will be issued on receipt, in terms with clause 4.5 of our Terms and conditions.

If the goods received were damaged, incorrect, or were incorrect in quantity – a full refund, (including initial delivery charge) will be issued on receipt, in terms with clause 4.5 of our Terms and conditions.

Any goods returned will not be accepted by us if the returns policy has not been followed correctly.

This returns policy does not affect your statutory rights.
