'Goldflimmer' is a fanstastic Rhododendron variety and is fairly unusual for a Rhododendron in that it has variegated foliage. It's dark green foliage is complimented by mauve/blue flowers with yellow centres in late spring 

As with most Rhododendron, 'Goldflimmer' much prefers acidic soils and a part sun to part shade situation, dappled light is ideal, do try to keep out of full sun. 

Care: When planting 'Goldflimmer' if possible back fill with acidic organic matter. Mulch with similar material each spring.

Rhododendron 'Goldflimmer' will rarely require much pruning, really only the cutting back of dead wood. Ideally dead-head after flowering.
