'Cranesbill' is a vigorous clump-forming perennial shrub with green foliage, which is very much complimented by hummocks of stunning violet-coloured flowers which burst in to existence in midsummer.

A really good low-maintenance, low-growing flowering plant that does very well in a sunny spot. 

A tidying prune after flowering to remove spent flowering stems will keep this Gernaium in good shape.
