Sabal causiarum is a much under-used hardy Fan palm that does very well in hot dry conditions. This Sabal does prove to be very hardy but it is important that it is planted out in a free draining location. With this in mind Sabal causiarum makes an ideal potted plant choice, and looks a treat on a hot sunny patio or coutyard.

Sabal causiarum requires little upkeep, other than the occasional pruning back old fronds in spring and autumn.
