Jungle Plants
'Jungle' is a hopelessly vague term to describe a grouping of plants but I just couldn't think of anything better. The kind of thing you'll find in here are Musa, Hedychium, Alocasia, Canna, Giant Anacondas. Well okay there are no anacondas, but the idea is that these plants are wonderfully tropical and display great architectural forms through their foliage. As always hardiness is a concern with anything too tropical, but we have been fairly exhaustive in trying to find the hardiest varieties possible. Infact a large majority of these plants started life in the Himalayas, so they are certainly used to some pretty chilly conditions.

Canna hybrid
Tall and striking, the canna has exotic waxy foliage and gorgeous colourful blooms borne on tall flower spikes. Flowers can be shades of red, pink or yellow shown off by luscious green, reddish or variegated leaves.
