Ficus benjamina

This beautiful variety of ornamental ficus is a great choice for home, convservatory or office. Including the pot this Ficus benjamina plant is 1.5m tall with a head of foliage 60cm in diameter which sits above a beautifully latticed trunk 70cm tall. A truly handsome indoor plant.

How to care for Ficus:

Position

Ficus prefers a bright position ideally out of direct light. Early morning or late afternoon sun is ok, but avoid an area that gets direct sunlight throughout the day.

Watering

Try to avoid over-watering Ficus, its the easiest and most common mistake when caring for Ficus and a sign of this is the yellowing of leaves. Try to allow Ficus to dry out a little before watering. In winter drastically reduce watering. 

Feeding

Feed Ficus monthly through the growing season with a liquid fertilizer or a slow release fertilizer. Ficus will not require feeding throughout the winter months. If foliage starts to yellow and drop do not feed, just reduce watering.

Orders above £60 are entitled to free delivery, orders equal to or below £60 are charged at £9.95.
