Ferns & Cycads
With their beautiful lacy fronds in many shades of green, ferns add new shape, foliage contrast and texture to a planting area.
Whether grown in pots in a courtyard, used to edge a woodland area, or massed beside a water feature, they are among the best foliage plants for softening the lines of hard landscaping, creating a cool atmosphere or enhancing an exotic effect.
Most ferns dislike deep shade and are at best in filtered shade, sheltered from cold winds.
Cyathea Cooperi
Graceful Australian fern with upright growing fronds
Cyathea Cooperi is coming soon!
Cyca revoluta
Iconic, bold architectural plant, with dark olive green foliage and sturdy erect trunk. A real impact plant.
Zamia furfuracea
The pinnate leaves are thick, leathery and slightly fuzzy which look like and and feel like cardboard when rubbed. If I awarded gold stars this one would have one, no two, a real stunning plant.
