Muehlenbeckia complexa is a hardy, evergreen, fast growing climber.

This New Zealand native quickly creates a dense coverage over a sizable area, and is ideally used to train up trellis, pergolas and pillars. It can also be left alone in the border to create a mound, or be encouraged to spread out giving good ground cover.

The Maidenhair Vine is really all about it's foliage and its ability to cover and screen but it also produces beautiful greenish-white flowers at the end of summer which give off a fantastic scent.

Caring for Muehlenbeckia complexa is very straightfoward just trim to shape any time in Autumn after flowering. In most cases once established this cliimber doesn't require any additional watering or feeding.

Muehlenbeckia complexa proves hardy throughout the UK, but can shed its foliage in very exposed winter conditions, but rest-assured the foliage does return with vigour in Spring.
