A showy variety of the good old English ivy. It's striking, golden variagated foliage does make it a far more notable plant than traditional Ivy. 

Hedera helix 'golden kolibri' is excellent for screening, covering pergolas, trailing from pots or creating a colourful backdrop. It is vigorous, hardy, evergreen and and has all the virtues of English Ivy, but is just a little bit more interesting to look at.

As would be expected this Ivy is a very unfussy climber and will do well in just about any situation and soil type. As with any ivy, Hedera helix 'golden kolibri' can be trimmed any time of the year, so you can keep it trained to the shape and size you want it.
