Bushy bottlebrush with linear to lance-shaped, dark green leaves. In summer, bears deep red flowers in numerous spikes. 

Pruning is necessary after flowering to maintain dense growth and maximum flowering. In the summer this Callistemon will bloom sporting spectacular bright red bottlebrush-like flowers that are great for attracting butterflies
