A much under-rated and under-used arid plant, that proves very hardy and very reliable. 

Yucca filamentosa Variegata produces dense clumps of stiff blue leaves edged with fine curly hairs, which gives the plant it name 'filamentosa'. On mature plants, huge flower-spikes, appear in mid-summer.

This variegated hardy yucca is an understated architectural foliage plant, perfect for dry sunny spots, very much at home in dry gardens, rockeries and amongst like-minded arid plants. It really does very well in a pot, and is teriffic in coastal exposed areas.
